Our rates are for the rental of exclusive use of the entire house, garden and pool on a self-catering basis. Rates may be subject to change.

Payments

A booking is confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit. The 50% balance of payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.  Bookings can be made directly with us via Nightsbridge. :

BOOK ONLINE

Payments via this online system can be made either with Credit Card (via the secure online Credit Card payment platform Paybridge) or an EFT transfer. In case of an EFT transfer, please note a booking is only confirmed when proof of payment and full deposit funds have been received.

Our Rates

Our rates are a unit price for the exclusive use of the entire house on a self-catering basis, sleeping up to a maximum of 6 guests. Rates may be subject to change.

Minimum stay is 5 to 7 nights during the year except for Peak Season. In Peak Season the minimum stay increases to 14 nights. Even if dates won’t show availability in calendar, it is always good to check with us even if you were planning to stay less than minimum stay. We can sometimes be flexible if the days fall in between bookings.

Rates include pre- and after cleaning, free WIFI (uncapped fiber) and a weekly pool service. There are no additional charges.

Check-in and check-out times

  • Check-in:     16h00       
  • Check-out:  10h00

The standard check-in time is from 16h00. We try and be flexible where we can; if we have no guests departing on arrival day, earlier check-in may be granted at the discretion of the property manager. Alternatively, luggage may be stored in the garage prior to check-in if possible. We kindly request guests to notify the property manager of their arrival time.

The latest standard check-out time is 10h00. We try and be flexible where we can if we have no new guests arriving on departure day later check-out may be granted at the discretion of the property manager.

Cancellation policy

Our standard Cancellation policy: Bookings cancelled 45 days prior to arrival can be cancelled free of charge, deposits will be refunded with a small service charge of 10% to cover costs. Bookings cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival will by default not be refunded. However, we understand sometimes cancellations happen due to events happening outside the guest control, and we will do everything in our power to refill the dates. Should we be successful, a partial refund may be granted. We also have the best guesthouse insurance in place available in South Africa, should there be a last-minute cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances outside the guest’s control, such as a death in the immediate family. In such cases we can apply for a full refund from insurance, providing proof of circumstances is provided by guests, forms and details are filled in by the guests, and all are approved by the insurance. A refund would in this case only be paid after the check-in dates once insurance has paid out. We highly recommend guests to have their own cancellation policy in place.

CANCELLATION? POSTPHONE INSTEAD: For travelers who are unable to travel due to COVID restrictions and need to cancel because of COVID restrictions or any other emergency reasons are always welcome to rebook alternative dates subject to availability. Different rates may apply.

Coronavirus notice

Please note we take special precautions and have strict hygiene protocols in place as per WHO recommendations with regards to the pandemic of COVID-19. We have implemented a window period before and after bookings in order for us to implements strict sanitizing protocols.

Noise pollution

Because the house is situated in a residential area with close neighbours on all sides, we strictly do not allow parties or events at the premises, nor music in the garden, nor any noise pollution, out of respect to the neighbours. We request consideration to our neighbours, and we encourage complete quiet time from 23h00.
