The cottage is North-West facing making it very sunny and light.

THE POOL

A sparkling SOLAR-HEATED pool which is about 9×3 meters, with tropical plants around the edge for the ultimate holiday feel.

At dusk, the garden lights create a magical atmosphere for outdoor entertaining by the pool and a nice South African braai (BBQ).

The pool has a safety fence for toddlers protection and parents’ peace of mind; our little guests can safely play and run around in the garden.

THE GARDEN

Hout Bay Beach Cottage has a fully enclosed private garden offering a safe environment for children and an oasis for adults.

   

   

     

   

Close to everything yet just far enough from the main road to ensure guests can enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful mountain views. All day sun when the sun shines, but also plenty of trees for shade.

THE PATIO

The garden offers various seating options for relaxation; benches, sun loungers with pillows and umbrella, modern ‘New York’ outdoor dining set with Weber braai and an outdoor patio suite.

The Cape Summer wind comes to the rear of the cottage, which means the front garden and patio is more sheltered from this famous South Easter wind.

This wind is also known as the ‘Cape Doctor’; as it provides for the cleanest air and clear blue skies.

There are children’s outdoor play facilities with sandpit and scooter bikes for toddlers ensuring the whole family will be making memories of a lifetime.
